𝘾𝙃𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙂𝘼𝙕𝘼 is not only the Park. Very close to Bogota, in a village of 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙖𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙞́ is a Private Community Reserve, which stopped cultivating their land to leave it as a wildlife corridor that cohabits with the Paramo de Chingaza, in 30 years its recovery has been impressive 🐻🦋.

You will be able to see in a few kilometers giant endemic frailejones, 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙖 𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙞, traces of the 𝙊𝙨𝙤 𝘼𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙤, Tremarctos ornatus and why not, be able to see it. You will pass by a beautiful waterfall, which thanks to conservation work recovered its water, a mystical lagoon in the middle of the moor, many water springs, moss mats, tiny orchids, birds such as hummingbirds, trogons, toucans, owls.

How should I dress?

* Bring hydration in a refillable bottle. * We will offer you a typical snack, bring lunch, and other snacks such as peanuts, snacks, etc. * Bring sports clothes for walking, and for cold, rainy and muddy weather, quick-drying shirt, hat, raincoat, gloves, thermal vest, * Bring a change of clothes including socks and shoes. * Hiking shoes or boots with good grip, there is usually a lot of mud, if you think you can walk with marsh boots it will be much better (you can rent at the reserve). * Backpack with double loader to carry your things, waterproof your phone and camera. * Recommended walking sticks if you have them. * If you take medication, bring it with you and tell the guide that you must take it. The garbage you generate must be returned with you. And a lot of attitude to enjoy a nice hike

Can I bring children and pets on the hike?

Children over 12 years old can attend with good physical condition and who enjoy nature, water and mud. Pets are NOT allowed.

Can I drive my own vehicle?

Yes, until Choachí and we will recommend a parking lot where you can park it while you do the hike. If your vehicle is a 4x4 it is possible to take it to the beginning of the hike, but it will not be discounted from the registration fee.

How demanding is the hike?

If it is demanding, it has steep ascents and descents. Good health and physical condition are required.
