Explore the Rural Bogotá, its moors and lungs. You will be able to observe Bogota, the Cerro de Monserrate and Guadalupe from behind and at the top, you will have a panorama of the immensity of the city and how it looks without you! 🙂 You will walk along ancient indigenous and royal roads, between frailejones and you will know the sacred lagoon of the Muyscas de Teusacá. We will upload 5 hills among the moorWe will walk along the trail, with viewpoints, among frailejones, the fog will accompany us and give us strength in each step. WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT ATTEND THE OUTING?

CANCELLATION POLICIES FOR ONE-DAY EXPERIENCES (HIKING) On the part of the participants: - If you request a cancellation 8 days in advance and up to 5 days before the start date of the hike you may reschedule or endorse the outing, with no possibility of refund. | If the cancellation is equal to or less than 4 days before the start date of the trek, you will not be able to reschedule but you will be able to endorse the quota. | If you do not show up on the day of departure, there is no possibility of rescheduling or refunding the money paid for the reservation. Explora Verde: In the event that the minimum number of participants for each hike is not reached, the total amount paid by the participant will be refunded. | If due to situations beyond the agency's control it is difficult to carry out the hike (weather conditions, road conditions, public disturbances, among others), the hike will be rescheduled discounting the payments made to third parties, in equal parts between the participant and Explora Verde; reimbursing the remaining amount to the participant if the new date of the hike does not coincide with the new date of departure.

Is it safe to take the bus?

The departure point is the TransOriente station, 6th street below the caracas, next to the 100 metropolitan police station, is the place where all the people who live in the east of Cundinamarca take the bus to their places of residence, so it is very busy and is also used by tourists.

What should I bring to the exit?

1. The weather is cold and humid, wear suitable clothes for walking, shoes with good grip, waterproof, hydration and snacks (in summer it may be a little hot, but in the moor the weather is very variable). 2. Bring your lunch, we will take it in a lagoon or viewpoint, REMEMBER: it is forbidden to bring single-use plastic in the protected area. 3. Bring enough hydration in a reusable bottle for a total of 5 to 7 hours of hiking. 4. Bring your identification document. 5. Suitcase with double loader to carry your personal belongings. 6. Cap or cap. | Gloves | Jacket and collar for the cold.

Can I bring children and pets?

You can take children over 12 years old who are used to long walks and like nature. We do not recommend taking dogs to the páramo ecosystem, as it is very sensitive and is inhabited by animals that, even if we do not see them, can be harmed by the smell or germs.
