Explora Verde will take you on a journey through the high Andean forest, royal roads, the imposing Peña Azul and the moor.
You will walk on a route created by our ancestors to unite Bacatá (Bogotá) with the Eastern Plains, between 2800 and 3500 meters above sea level, walking on the Cruz Verde moor and visiting a great viewpoint where the brave Güecha (Muysca warrior) turned into stone to protect the Muysca people of the Eastern Province: Choachí, Ubaque and Fómeque. WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT ATTEND THE OUTING?

CANCELLATION POLICIES FOR ONE-DAY EXPERIENCES (HIKING) On the part of the participants: - If you request a cancellation 8 days in advance and up to 5 days before the start date of the hike you may reschedule or endorse the outing, with no possibility of refund. | If the cancellation is equal to or less than 4 days before the start date of the trek, you will not be able to reschedule but you will be able to endorse the quota. | If you do not show up on the day of departure, there is no possibility of rescheduling or refunding the money paid for the reservation. Explora Verde: In the event that the minimum number of participants for each hike is not reached, the total amount paid by the participant will be refunded. | If due to situations beyond the agency's control it is difficult to carry out the hike (weather conditions, road conditions, public disturbances, among others), the hike will be rescheduled discounting the payments made to third parties, in equal parts between the participant and Explora Verde; reimbursing the remaining amount to the participant if the new date of the hike does not coincide with the new date of departure.

What should I bring to the exit?

The weather is cold and humid, bring adequate clothing for walking, shoes with good grip or if you like, pant boots, raincoat, hydration and snacks. Do not carry single-use plastic and if you do carry it, do not leave it on site.

Can I bring children and pets?

* As a measure of conservation of the moor we do not recommend to bring dogs. * This hike is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.

If I take my own vehicle, do I have a place to park it?

Yes, you can leave it in a safe place, we will tell you where. They charge $6.000 per day per vehicle.
