Thank you for your reservation, we are delighted that you want to spend one or more nights in our Refugio, Tu Refugio.
Once the reservation is made and confirmed with payment, you will receive via WhatsApp the link to the form: "Check In - Personal Data" which must be filled out by each of the attendees to the lodging.

Check in (room delivery to guest): 3:00 pm
Check out (handing over the room to the accommodation manager): 12:00 m
NoteStrict schedules for the delivery of accommodations. We appreciate your understanding and compliance. Check-in and check-out times are flexible, accommodation is available from 10:00 am.
Check-in
Follow the instructions sent by WhatsApp (do not navigate with WAZE).
Upon arrival at the Refugio you will enter through parking lot 1 (Refugio). For casa Turpial (Parking lot 2, see directions) there you must make a call to 3202123371 to go up to open the door.
Bed linen - Toilet kit
You must bring your own toiletry kit (soap, shampoo). According to our eco-environmental policies we do not deliver amenitíes (small doses of toiletries, usually packaged in disposable plastic bottles) to reduce the consumption of single-use plastics.
If you would like towels for your body, please request them at check-in.
If your reservation is for a room at the Refugio or Casa Turpial, please bring sandals, slippers or comfortable shoes as you must leave your street shoes outside the house.
Feeding
With the reservation you have breakfast included (except for the Turpial house and according to the contract). The schedule for breakfasts is from 8:00 to 9:00 am, lunches between 1:00 to 2:00 pm, dinners between 7:00 to 7:30 pm, later there is no kitchen service. The dinner menu will be discussed hours before, unique menu with vegetarian option (please inform us at the time of booking).
If you wish to have lunch at the Refugio, please order it before 11 am.
We have a mini-shop with beer, water, wine, local craft cocktails and snacks. If you bring your own wine or beer you will have to pay 30% corkage fee of the price we have in our store.
Reservation cancellation policy
At Explora Verde we are allies of your adventures and desire to go to the mountains, therefore we suggest you organize your trip with time and take into account the following rules to get the best out of it and enjoy your stay in our base camp.
Once the reservation is made, there is no refund.
You have the possibility to reschedule your reservation up to December 30 of the current year, assuming possible readjustments in the rate and according to availability.
If you postpone your stay 7 or more days before the reservation date, you will be able to reschedule for any date depending on availability and assuming possible readjustments in the rate, remember there is no refund.
If you postpone your stay within 6 days before the reservation date, you will be able to reschedule from Tuesday to Friday (not a holiday, or day before a holiday) depending on availability and assuming possible readjustments in the rate.
What you should take into account to come to the explora verde refuge:
For the creators of the lodge, their lifestyle is marked by the mountain and we want to transmit that passion with you, that's why we are a camp that serves as a base to explore the mountain. You will find waterfalls, rivers and mountain tops,
Indian trails, pictograms, cornfields, sacred lagoons, paramos and canyons, hanging bridges and lots of flora and fauna. Keep in mind the following recommendations:
Bring comfortable shoes with good grip for walking on cobblestone and dirt trails.
Bring comfortable clothes for walking. We are located at 1900 meters above sea level, so the climate is temperate with some sunny days and other days of rain and cold. At night the temperature drops, you can bring a jacket and some warm clothes.
If you have a mountain bike, we suggest you bring it. There are many routes and trails for all levels with landscapes full of nature. Here we can share different routes and we have a guide service if you wish to hire it.
Bring a bathing suit if you like to enjoy the river and bathe under refreshing waterfalls.
Bring a good book that you can enjoy from our gazebos and hammock tree.
If you play a musical instrument it will be a pleasure to listen to you, you can play around the bonfire that we light every night depending on the weather.
If you like mountain bike rides, ask for our special routes for bikers, we have a wide variety of guided tours for all levels and with different attractions to visit on our machines.
Ask about our routes and plans for Colombia and the world. We like to show the richness of our country and the beauty of the mountains in different scenarios.

As far as possible, payments of consumptions and/or balance should be made by:

o Dataphone: All means of payment, the 5% must be recharged.
